DVD Review : New Police Story [2 Disc Edition]
(Joy Sales)
by Gary Cheah
Cover/Packaging : (7/10)

Contents :
Two DVDs. One DVD9 (movie) and one DVD5 (special feature disc)
DVD Info/Specs : DVD9 and DVD5, Cantonese Dolby Digital 5.1,
Cantonese DTS 5.1, Mandarin Dolby Digital 5.1,
Traditional/Simplified/English subtitles, 123 mins running time.
DVD Menu (8/10)
Animated menu! Nicely done, but still not up to my expectation.
Looks kinda rushed job.
Special Features (8/10)
You'll get a DVD5 disc for the Special Features. It comes with
"About The Story, Characters, Cats & Credits, Photo Gallery.
Trailer, Music Video, The making of #1, The making of #2 (behind the
scenes, 1 hour+), Good enough!

Cantonese with Chinese subs. No English subtitles for the
Extras.
Video/Audio Quality (9/10)
Great transfer! Anarmorpic widescreen 16x9, great clarity
between colors/brightness. But it seems that the picture is NOT on
the center, its shifted to the left side abit.
The DTS track on this DVD is awesome! All rounded surround! The
Dolby Digital track is not bad either.

Conclusion (8/10)
Well, its another Jackie Chan flick, good sets of DVDs (movie+special
feature), a must buy for all JC fans! Worth every cents! Highly
Recommended!
